Greetings to all off-road fans!

In summer 2012 – on 17, 18 and 19 August all off-road drivers are welcome to LATVIA where the off-road competitions - the 1st stage of North-European Zone (NEZ) Trophy raid championship will take place!

The STIGA TROPHY 2012 competitions is held as an international three-day off-road racing festival, a competition among racers from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia and other European countries.
As it is common in NEZ championship stages the racing vehicles will be divided in four categories – TR-1, TR-2, TR-3 and Open. And also the ATV (quadricycles) drivers are welcome to participate in competition!

Alūksne is famous for the great diversity of the kinds of off-road terrain available for racing – forests, meadows, ditches, hills, sand and gravel pits, peat-bogs, clayey terrain, rivers and lakes… The vicinity is considered to be among the best there are in Latvia for off-road competitions.

For three days the participants of the STIGA TROPHY 2012 in different sports categories will compete in various kinds of disciplines (about 8 different stages in total):

· several orienteering zones,
· trial with different obstacles,
· legend and
· off-road racing lap (mud lap) competition etc.

Every day the participants will have to accomplish two to three stages, the results are summed up and the best off-road drivers determined.

In order to make the STIGA TROPHY 2012 unforgettable, the organizers provided for different surprises and shows. Throughout the three days of the event there will be a lot of entertainment activities for the participants and the spectators, hosted by the Latvian strongman Raimonds Bergmanis. Certainly, there is also going to be a lot of prizes, lotteries and other surprises form sponsors!

• Numbers of days of competition: 3 days
• Division of racing vehicles: 4 different categories + ATV

• Participants from 5-10 countries
• Total distance of competition course -up to 500 km
